To eradicate corruption we must sustain a long term approach

Eradicating corruption from our communities is a worthy mission that requires a long-term approach and commitment from all of us. Because corruption is sometimes ingrained in our communities and often involves powerful and wealthy bad individuals and institutions who have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo despite its negative overall broad effects, we need to apply a joint multi-pronged strategy focusing on educating citizens in our communities to understand how corruption negatively affects every aspect of our daily lives and our future, and our planet’s sustainability, and how to recognize corruption, providing smart tools to expose corruption, supporting whistleblowers, and requiring responsible parties to bring these bad actors to accountability. Only by stopping corruption and impunity we can have a better and more just society for all of us and generations to come.
