How to recognize corruption

Although corruption practices in our community often takes places behind closed doors, there are some warning signs that we can look out for, like, situations of conflict of interest, lack of transparency by the parties, nepotism or favoritism, unexplained wealth or assets of parties, and records discrepancies, and other red flags showing unethical and dishonest behavior that negatively affects our communities, increasing economic and social injustice, threating the rule of law and our democracy.
